Based on last Monday�s post, we received an overwhelming influx of emails in our inbox of keen runners who have taken the step forward to help the wildlife in need!

From now till November, runners will be running various races to raise awareness for ACRES and the wildlife in need. Together, we will gather as many support through the various upcoming races before summarising it and raising funds with one of Singapore’s biggest running race – Standard Chartered Marathon 2014; this December.

Keep a look-out for our updates as we begin featuring the runners who will be running to help ACRES and the wildlife in need!

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
