CAN YOU HELP A DOG LIKE AVICI? PLEASE CLICK HERE TO DONATE

I am an old boy and I have lived my entire life on the street. I have been struggling a lot, with no owner to care for me and only a street corner to call home. I am now 12 years old and my name is Avici.

I was brought to the Soi Dog shelter with such terrible skin problems. The vets said I had something called dermatitis and hyper-pigmentation. I was infested with demodex mites and suffering from a fungal skin infection. I had discharge from both my eyes and my old body was covered in crusty sores. I had no appetite and had developed anaemia as a result. All my beautiful fur had fallen out. I felt so ugly and unwanted.

Since arriving here, I am getting the treatment I have needed for so long but my recovery will not be quick. I have been moved out of the clinic now and into the OAP run but the vets tell me it will take me a long time to get better. Although I have a very long journey ahead of me, I am finally in the place where I can start it.

All this is due to a special group of Soi Dog supporters. They are the people who send monthly donations so that Soi Dog can pick up suffering animals like me and get us the treatment we need. These people are called the Emergency Response Team and I thank them from the bottom of my tired, old heart.

Every day, Soi Dog picks up dogs and cats that are sick, injured, abandoned or abused. To help these animals, and provide them with the care and treatment they need, we rely on the Soi Dog supporters that make up the Emergency Response Team. Without them, dogs like Avici would still be suffering on the street, alone and in despair. He would not have made it.

Sadly, there are many more street dogs and cats that need help. Please join us in saving them by becoming a member of the Emergency Response Team today. No amount is too small; every penny helps. To make a one-time or recurring donation, please click on Avicis photo below. Thank you.
