CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ANOTHER DOG LIKE JAVA? CLICK HERE TO DONATE

My name is Java and I am a boy of about 8 years of age. I am a street dog of Thailand, never having had a home of my own or a human to love me. I would spend my days just trying to survive, sometimes being fed by kind strangers or hunting through trash for whatever I could find.

I tried to stay out of trouble but one day, a man hit me so many times with a stick that he nearly split my head open. I will never know what I did wrong. I was in agony and absolutely terrified when I was picked up by Animal Rescue Officer Khun Sanae.

At the Soi Dog shelter, a vet called Dr. Eugene examined the horrible wound on my head. It had become infected and was full of maggots. Dr. Eugene cleaned it out and put me on medication for the pain.

He has been treating and dressing my injury every day and has shown me that not all humans are evil. My wound is slowly beginning to heal and will eventually fade. I can only hope that the memory of what happened to me will one day do the same.

Every day, Soi Dog picks up dogs and cats that are sick, injured, abandoned or abused. To help these animals, and provide them with the care and treatment they need, we rely on the Soi Dog supporters that make up the Emergency Response Team. Without them, dogs like Java would still be suffering on the street, alone and in agony. He would not have made it.

Sadly, there are many more street dogs and cats that need help. Please join us in saving them by becoming a member of the Emergency Response Team today. No amount is too small; every penny helps. To make a one-time or recurring donation, please click on Javas photo below. Thank you.
