Do we hear RM150?
The bids as they come in:
27th May:
At 9.52pm, Cindy Lim-Tan bids RM350.
At 8.43pm, Irenelance bids RM171.
This is a two-layered cotton patchwork without padding in between.
It measures 49 inches by 71 inches.
The brown batik print is simply beautiful and I interspersed it with brown “pajama” cloth left over from another design!
To hide the “pajama” colours, I cut along the dark blue lines so that these lines could not be seen at all.
Then I used the diagonal cut technique and placed these pieces as above.
Voila!
Heidi and Timmy love it and of course, Ginger approves!
The backing is done in matching brown striped cloth, by my mum.
For a donation of RM150, you get this beautiful Warisan Batik which you can use as a blanket or even as a large floor mat. I could even cover my piano with it. It complements rattan or wooden furniture beautifully.
And of course, you get the help the animals too!
Happy Bidding!!
