Imagine being left all alone in the world when you are a little girl who is just a few days old. My mother died shortly after she gave birth. All my siblings quickly followed. I am orphan Birdie and this is my story.

I was the only one of my family who survived, but as a baby born to a street cat, I was on my own. Not only did I have no mother to feed me, I had no human owner to take care of me.

I was picked up by Soi Dog and sent to foster carer Khun Mia. That lady saved my life. She stayed with me around the clock; feeding me and making sure I continued to survive and grow.

I am now 11 weeks old and a lot bigger and stronger than I was all those weeks ago when I was rescued by Soi Dog. I may not have a family of my own, but I am one of the lucky ones. I was saved by the monthly donations of Soi Dog supporters. These donations are the only reason I am here today.
