A month ago, one of our volunteer found a few puppies in a substation near a school at Taman Molek. Due to school holiday, there are peace and silent. He saw cute movement of those puppies playing around there.

But, he didnt saw their mom, maybe their mom only come out during late night. Therefore, he brought some foods and put at the place everyday wishing the bitch will be there and have those foods. After a week, this peaceful land is bustling with noise due to school holiday end. Our volunteer is still bringing the foods and climb in to the substation for those puppies. But, the happy faces of the puppies are no longer been seen. Those puppies ran away immediately to the pit when heard the step sound. He feeling weird that those puppies act so different compared before. To answer the question, he stayed in his car and find out what had happened. At this moment, he saw something unbelievable.

Two little boys with school uniform climb into the substation. They are approaching those puppies with grinning face. Those puppies that already came out for food hide immediately again when they saw the little boys. Before our volunteer able to act, the two little boys carry the bricks they brought and smash to the puppies.

He got really angry and pressed the honk. The two little boys ran away while laughing. He went down to the pit and look at those puppies. Luckily those puppies act fast and didn’t hit by the bricks. They are safe for that moment. But, those puppies are fear and trembling. He knew those puppies are going to die if still stay at the substation. Immediately he called his friend and planning for rescue.

During the bath day at 13rd April, he able to gather 11 volunteer to join this rescue mission. Although that day is a rainy day, but no one complaining about the bad weather. They get into the pit in the substation. Use all their energy to bring out all those puppies. After that, they tie some string, repair the fence and plan how to rescue the bitch. They ambush near the substation, waited for three hours. Finally the bitch climbs into the substation. When the bitch saw them, she immediately hid into the pit. Our volunteers are not afraid of dirty, difficulties and the risk being bit. They climb into the pit with less than 1metre diameter. They spent half an hour to comfort the bitch. With all the efforts they have, they succeed to bring the bitch into cage. Then, they arrange for the neuter surgery and adoption of those puppies.

At the same time, we found out there is a tumor near genital of the bitch. The size is almost a palm size. Currently we still can not confirm whether it is benign or malignant tumor. Due to those puppies stayed in the pit for a long period, they are having slight skin diseases.

Taman Molek is not a large resident area. We saw there are some new born puppies and pregnant bitch at the area. All these puppies might get abuse or die because of infection. This scene makes us feeling so sad.

Humans are the only living creatures understand contraception. For strays, reproductive is not something they can avoid. Although they are so pity during their life, but they still not able to avoid get pregnant and give birth little puppies. In the circumstances they can hardly protect themselves, they need to take good care of their child, protect them. But, at last still being reported and killed due to amount of stays are too much.
