Babies Yumi And Emi Saved From Death On A Lonely Beach

Meet baby boy Yumi and baby girl Emi two pups that have been brought back from the brink of death. Yumi and Emi were found by a tourist couple on the beach at Khao Lak, approximately 60km north of Phuket. Emi was found lying on top of a plastic bag. Inside was her brother Yumi. They were just a week old.
The tourists took Yumi and Emi home with them and fed them and cared for them for two days, while they tried to find a solution. That solution was Soi Dog. Since the pups have been with our foster carer Khun Mia, they are receiving around the clock care to help them survive without their mother. We hope that despite their ordeal, they will thrive under Khun Mias protection.
These two babies were no doubt dumped by someone who didnt want their female dog to have puppies but hadnt had her sterilised. This, once again, shows the importance of Soi Dogs sterilisation programme. Only through spaying and neutering can the unwanted dog population be humanely controlled. Soi Dog treats and sterilises over 1000 animals a month and needs your help to continue.
We were only able to take in Yumi and Emi because of the support we get from the Emergency Response Team. You can help us to save the unwanted dogs and cats of Thailand by visiting https://www.soidog.org/en/ert/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=FBO_yumiemi1&utm_campaign=ert and signing up to join the Emergency Response Team today.
