Desperate Dundie Rescued From Ongoing Suffering

Dundie is a beautiful boy of approximately 7 years of age. Like so many dogs in this part of the world, he is a “Thai street dog”. He has known nothing other than a life on the streets, but he is one of the luckier ones in that he has people who provide him with food every day.
Dundie came to Soi Dog when we received a call from a lady who was worried about his condition. Animal Rescue Officer Khun Thep left immediately to pick him up. While in the car with Khun Thep, Dundie was very scared indeed but transformed into an incredibly friendly dog once out of the vehicle and at the shelter.
On examining him, our vets saw that Dundie had bad skin problems and a tumour on his back. He had lost some fur around his face, trunk and legs due to mange. Dundie will now have his tumour removed and is getting the treatment he badly needed for his skin condition. The vets are hopeful that he will make a full recovery.
Dundie would still be wandering the streets today, alone and suffering, were it not for the Emergency Response Team. His tumour would no doubt get larger in size and his mange would have gotten progressively worse, until all his fur had fallen out and his constant scratching would have led to infection. We can only continue to treat dogs like Dundie with your help. Please visit http://bit.ly/RmPa6W to join the Emergency Response Team today.
