Artie Receives Treatment To Overcome Horrible Fungal Infection

I was found by Soi Dog animal rescue officer Khun Jaroon at a local temple. He noticed how bad my skin was and knew that I needed to see a vet to get some help. It was really hard living at the temple because I was always itchy and could never get comfortable to get a decent rest. The itchiness was also so distracting that I found it hard to concentrate of finding food and water. Life really hasn�t been very happy for me lately.

I saw a vet as soon as I arrived at the clinic and she found out I had a fungal infection. My skin was so itchy that I had been scratching myself so much that I caused scabs on my body. The vet started me on medicine straight away to try and kill this fungal infection and while it may not look like I have made much of an improvement, it is definitely feeling less itchy. I can�t wait until my hair starts to grow back, but the vet said I need to be patient about that. I am currently staying in the treatment runs with some other dogs, so it is good to have some company, even though it is a bit boring in here.

I am so thankful that Khun Jaroon found me and that I am now getting the veterinary treatment I need. The vet has told me that it�s only because of wonderful people who belong to the Emergency Response Team that they can help me and many other dogs and cats who need help.
