This is Pesi. He has a large and terrible testicular tumor. We do not know how long our stray furkid has wandered about in pain and suffering, tortured by a lump as big as a ball!

Pesi has undergone surgery to remove the tumor- the tumor has been submitted to the laboratory for further examination. At present we can only wait for the report findings to understand if the tumor is benign or malignant.

Pesi’s present condition has developed as such because he was not ligated. Hence, to prevent similar cruelties from happening in the future, PLEASE spay your pets and if you have the means to, please help the stray dogs by neutering then too. This is the most effective method to prevent more animals from suffering a similar fate. Ligation of dogs carry more benefits than harm; it is a safe, simple and long-term procedure. Thank you for helping our dogs live in a safer and cruel-free environment.

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
