Cooper Arrives For Treatment After Road Traffic Accident
Tweet |
Cooper was recently picked up by Khun Jaroon after being hit by a car and injuring his left front leg. Cooper was sent immediately for x-rays and found to have a fracture which required a cast to be fitted to his leg. Cooper also has wounds on his hip, which may have been caused in the accident or may have been inflicted by a person.
Cooper is also suffering from hair loss and a skin scraping has shown he is suffering from a fungal infection. This condition is likely to be causing itchiness and discomfort, although it is not life threatening.
Cooper is currently being treated with pain killers and antibiotics for his injured leg and to prevent the infection of his wounds. We are hoping that once Cooper’s leg is healed he will have no problems walking. Once Cooper has stopped the antibiotics and pain killers, the vets will start treating his fungal infection. This is not urgent and vets are concerned about giving him too much medication for now.
