Cinder Begins To Recover From Leg Amputation To Save His Life

Hi, my name is Cinder. If you didnt catch my original story a couple of days ago, you can read it at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.670228919685513.1073742684.108625789179165&type=1

I am a young boy who was recently found in the bottom of a well with a badly injured leg. It was broken and all of the skin had come off it. I cant really remember what happened as I was in so much pain and have blocked it out of my memories. A nice lady named Khun Katie found me and brought me to the Soi Dog clinic where the vets looked at my leg and realised that I couldnt feel anything in my leg. It was also badly infected where all the skin had come off. They were left with no choice to amputate my leg to save my life.

I was really scared about having an operation as I didnt realise I would be asleep while it was happening and I wouldnt feel a thing. Dr Su assured me that it would all be ok, so I was more relaxed about it after that. The surgery went well and I have to say, it feels better to not have a leg I cant use or feel anymore. I am also feeling better now as I have been treated for my serious infection. Dr Su says that I need a few days rest and then I will be able to go and stay in the cat suite to practice walking on three legs. My future is looking bright as I have been told that Khun Katies friend wants to adopt me when I have recovered from my operation. I am very excited about that.

I have also been told that its because of a generous group of people who make up Phis Cat Care club that the vets at Soi Dog were able to help me. Because of this club, cats like me are able to receive medical treatment, rehabilitation, food and shelter. You can also help cats like me by joining Phis Cat Care Club.
