Tiger Day 11
Tweet |
Today is Day 11 of Tiger’s sporo treatment. Breakfast was as usual, and Tiger’s appetite was really good. He had seconds and thirds. He needs all this nutrition to help him heal as we are looking at long-term administration of Sporonox which can be harmful.
E-collar on after application of the Lamisil cream.
Tabs kept Tiger company.
Bunny too.
Indy too, in his own way.
And Cow as well.
Cow & Bunny may bully Tiger, but when it comes to the crunch, hey, they have been brothers for 8 years and it was Cow who taught Tiger how to be a cat. So when it matters, when your old friend is not well, you have to rise to the occasion and be supportive.
Tabs, ever-faithful and best friend.
Today, Tiger had a good sunbath for hours. The sun is very healing.
I managed to take these photos without upsetting him.
The original stubborn sores. But don’t you think they look less inflamed?
These are also the original sores. I think they will take some weeks to go off because I really don’t know how long they had been there before we noticed them 10 days ago. One tiny sore appeared above the row of originals and another very tiny one below. Here’s where photos can be so useful. Sometimes we cannot see the sores on the animal as the animal may be moving or struggling, but we can scrutinise the photo later and spot the sores, as I am doing with the photo above.
Also an original sore with another one spreading from it a few days ago. Looks less inflamed too.
These must be new sores on the hip which I had not noticed earlier, but they look very dry now. It feels crusted too.
These are the two new sores on the right front paw, but they are almost disappearing now. I noticed these sores on the very day they appeared (two days ago), applied the cream and it looks like the duration is two days – they are almost gone now. It’s dry and crusted.
Happy!!
The one on the tail. This has been there for quite sometime before I detected it, so it’s going to take awhile to heal.
We are thankful that all seems well today.
Thank you very much for your kind wishes and prayers for Tiger.
