Pup Dumped In Rubbish Bin Now Enjoying Life In Puppy Run

Hi, my name is Chance. I came to Soi Dog a few weeks ago after I was dumped in a rubbish bin down near the beach. I don’t know how long I was in the rubbish bin but one minute I was walking around minding my own business and then next thing I know someone picked me up and put my inside. I was so scared. It was dark and smelly in there and I didn’t know if anyone would come and help me. Thankfully for me, two nice men from Soi Dog named Khun Nok and Khun Wanchai came and helped me and took me back to the shelter. When I arrived I met a nice lady called Dr Eed and she said she would help me with my skin problems and help heal a wound I had on my tail.

I am now living in the puppy run here at Soi Dog and it is so much fun. There are toys everywhere and lots of other puppies to play with. Most of all though I love having cuddles with the volunteers. They make me feel very special and loved, which is great as I certainly didn’t feel that way when I was dumped in the rubbish bin. I am still waiting for my skin to fully clear up and all my fur to grow back, but some of the puppies on the puppy run have told me that there skin was much worse than mine when they first came to Soi Dog and they have lots of fur now.

The other puppies have told me that it is because of a special team called the Emergency Response Team that Soi Dog Foundation can help dogs like me who are dumped and need urgent care. I’d really like to thank those people and also let other people know they can join this team by visiting https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html
