Madonna has great news to share with you……..

Hi everybody, its Madonna here. If you have not heard of me, you can read my story at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.643817702326635.1073742510.108625789179165&type=3

I came to the Soi Dog shelter from one the mobile clinics in Phuket. I was living at a temple but was having trouble surviving on my own. I found it really hard to find food and water and didn’t feel very well. I also had very itchy skin which was almost driving me crazy! Once I came to the Soi Dog shelter the vets gave me medicine for my skin and I was given lots of food and water. I was so happy to be looked after and glad I had some other dogs to spend time with.

When I was feeling better I moved to the small dog run, but the other day the staff came and got me and took me to the clinic. I was worried and wondered what was going on as they gave me a full check-up. The staff told me I was moving to the hotel run and I was confused at first, but then I was so happy when they explained that I had been adopted! I am going to live with a lovely lady named Sue who lives in a place called the UK. I cannot even describe how excited I am! I will need to spend a few months in the hotel run before leaving, but I know it will all be worth it to have a home I can call my own.

Do you think you might be interested in adopting one of the other dogs at the shelter so they can have a happy ending like me? If so, you can find out more at

http://www.soidog.org/en/adoptions/adoption-costs/. They tell me that Soi Dog does not charge any money to adopt, all the humans need to pay for is the money it costs for the dog (ok and cats if that I what you are into) to travel to their new your home. If you would like to do this, you need to fill in a form so we dogs can find out more about you. This can be done at

http://www.soidog.org/en/adoptions/adoption-questionnaire/
