SEEKING SANCTUARY in CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS

The Harmony Fund animal rescue charity is ready to begin a new chapter in our work with the creation of a sanctuary near our headquarters in Central Massachusetts (USA). Our dream is to have a spacious area pastoral parcel of land with one or more barns where we can care for animals who have been victimized by cruelty and neglect. The sanctuary will provide a soft landing place for animals of many species who will finally come to know what it feels to be touched with love.

We’re hoping to find a benefactor who will donate the land which could be put into a trust to protect animals for years to come. Our primary interest would be in finding a location in Sterling, Princeton, Holden, Rutland, Paxton, Brookfield, Spencer, Harvard, Acton, Littleton, Lancaster, Berlin, Bolton, Boylston or nearby towns. The Great Animal Rescue Chase celebrates the art of animal rescue with a worldwide race to rescue one million. It’s a free event, open to all, and is perhaps the only global animal rescue event aimed at helping any animal in distress, anywhere in the world. Our ambition is to create a culture of enthusiasm and pride in animal activism. We believe in teaching, by example, that there is a hero in each of us just waiting to be unleashed.
