We have subsidised RM162.50 for this dog’s treatment. This subsidy comes from the AnimalCare Donors (RM62.50) and Berjaya Cares (RM100).

Hi Dr Chan
This evening when I was closing up the centre, I saw one of the street dogs I have been feeding was injured. He was throwing up blood. A guy told me a car had ran him down and just drove off!
With the guy’s help, we carried the dog up to my car and went to the vet.
Dr said his lungs doesn’t sound okay. He is now on drips and hospitalised. Dr said his condition is critical.
Dr Chan, if the bill is too much for me to handle all by myself, can I apply for subsidy?
Please advise.

Dear Dr Chan,
Pls find attached the photo of the street dog that was knocked down by a car on Saturday 14/12 and was discharged on Tuesday 17/12.
According to Dr, his jaw was hit and thus, he needs to fed soft food by hand. He is now in the care of a Myanmar boy who assured me he will feed this dog his medication too.
I will submit the form to you soon.
