To celebrate International World Animal Day, Our Silent Community – a

photographic essay about the lives of shelter workers, street animals,

and animals at the SPCA – makes its debut public exhibition at:

Venue: Select Books, 51, Armenian Street Singapore 179939

Date: 15 September to 15 October 2013

Time : Monday to Saturday: 9:30am to 6:30pm

Sunday and Public Holidays: 10:00am to 4:00pm

Photojournalism students from CHIJ St. Joseph’s Convent share the

untold story behind those who work behind the scenes to protect neglected and abused animals in our society. The exhibition also

celebrates the resilience of animals and gives voice to the voiceless. Drop by Select Books from now till 15 October and

go on a visual journey into the lives of our silent community.
