Divas Will Be Divas

Remember how when Heidi first came to our house, she wanted to be the kitchen cat?

That did not quite work out, so she took over the playground and is now the matriarch of the place.

But we must remember that if a cat wants something, she will always, finally and eventually get it.

The kitchen is mine.

There is no sharing as far as these shelves are concerned, so it wouldn’t have made a difference if we had fixed a short shelf here or a long one, because once a diva occupies it, no one is allowed to come anywhere near the entire long (or short) shelf.

And up here is Pole’s territory and she gets up with complete ease.

�Hi there, Pole!

I don’t know how she does it, but she can turn around on this thin ledge and walk in the opposite direction!

When a cat (especially a diva-cat) wants to do anything, she will get it done.
