Our reader, Norely Abd Rahman, responded to Marina Mustapha’s request for help to get the Lebuh Ampang cats neutered. Norely also discovered that some of the cats needed medical treatment and she and Marina are in the process of rescuing as many as they can.

Below is one of the cats who can be adopted. If interested, please contact Norely directly.

Hi Dr. Chan,

Marina and I are trying to get one of our Ampang colony rescues for adoption. He is the one I got with the one eyed ginger cat. He is just so sweet and manja that Marina wants to try to get him an adopter first before our last resort, that is, PAWS. By the way, I will mail you the receipt for their treatment tomorrow.
Our plan for the Ampang colony still holds. I managed to call PAWS and Marina & I plan to send the ones that we managed to rescue on Sunday straight to the vet before sending them to PAWS.
Here is the write up for the kitten. He might look a little like Mr. Zurik but he is no Zurik. He is such a gentle soul and he has dreamy eyes…..I named him McDreamy after the character Derek Shepherd from Grey’s Anatomy.
“McDreamy is one of the cats rescued from the Ampang colony. He does not belong on the streets of Lebuh Ampang. His dreamy eyes will melt anyone’s heart! His gentle ways and soft fur will make you fall in love with him. Please find it in your heart to give this lovable creature a home. He is between 4-5 months old, dewormed and flea free. I do need to get a commitment to neuter him in 2 months time. He will make a great addition to any family.”
Thanks Dr. Chan!
Ely
