This dog was reported to us straying in some light industry area at Permatang Tinggi. He has a swollen penis, cancerous growths and wounds infested with maggots all over his body, from head to tail.

Attempts has been made to catch him but failed. Lastly, through Professional Dog Catchers, we got him, thanks to Specializ Pet Care Centre.

He has 8 cancerous growths all over him including his testicles and penis. Maggots are attacking his intestines and it�s just a matter of time before he collapse and drop dead. Time is running out.

5 hours of surgery, conducted by Dr. Lim, to remove all the growths and to neuter him at the same time.

Woofie is currently recuperating at the clinic. He has woken up and has start eating since yesterday. Let�s hope and pray for his speedy recovery. Woofie will need about 3-4 weeks to fully recover. During this period, he will be under the observation and care of Dr. Lim.

The SPCA Seberang Perai is a society registered in September 2005. Our primary aim is to reduce the population of stray animals or possibly a zero stray population in a humane manner. With lesser strays or no strays at all, the loving value of animals will be greatly increased and you can be sure that humans will shower more love for their pets and be responsible pet owners. The problem should not only be shouldered by our Society as the public must also understand the urgent need to control the pet population and give their whole-hearted support to all our projects for the undertaking to be successful. Then we will achieve a clean and hygienic environment for the community. As a no killing organization, we are embarking on a two-prong approach towards the problem i.e public education and sterilization of the stray animals.
