A month ago a street ‘pet’ with an injured eye was rescued by the Help in Suffering in Jaipur, Rajasthan- INDIA.
Surgery was performed and the dog received antibiotics and pain relief and other treatment at the Help in Suffering clinic.
“After about 4 weeks we were happy that the wound had healed properly and we were able to release the dog back to the care of its ‘carer’ who had repeatedly asked about their dog’s condition throughout treatment,” Help in Sufferings Timmie Kumar explains.
Here you see the fully recovered dog with Dr Manish and Hannah Fry, a veterinary student from London. The eye could not be salvaged, but the dog is doing wonderfully and feeling far better now that he is not in pain.
The Harmony Fund is proud to support the work of Help in Suffering.
