Hi there Kah Yein,
My next spay candidate is a calico female which has partly semi long-hair fur. Actually her fur toward the back of her body is long, but the fur on the front half of the body is short. A pretty interesting combination i would say. I have been trying to catch since her last Sunday to do the spaying on Monday, but failed to do. So i paid a visit to the vet today and asked him whether there’s anymore surgery slots for tomorrow and he said YES, one more only. So i told myself i gotta try my very best tonight to catch her. When i left office around 6pm, it started to rain heavily in PJ, and i thought to myself, here we go again. With the rain, sometimes these strays doesn’t come to my house for food. Probably they are finding shelter somewhere and can’t hear me shaking the kibble container. I waited and waited and the rain got smaller, and i tried, and she came for food. I have been planning and getting her used to eating inside the cage for the past week. So, she went in as usual to eat and i successfully caught her tonight. I will be sending her to the vet clinic tomorrow morning. I would like to apply for the spaying subsidy for this calico. My husband and i call her Bushy, because she has a Bushy tail.
Here are photos of her this morning during breakfast (she’s the one in the cage eating) and the other, just taken a minute ago, her being in the cage. The other calico and the black one eating near the window are sisters which were also subsidized by MyAnimalCare previously. After Bushy, my next candidate will be the little tuxedo kitten on the right hand near the pot of plant, we call her Batman.
Thanks.
Yoke Mei
