The SPCA is saddened to learn of the death of Wen Wen the dolphin. Destined for Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), 10-year-old Wen Wen died on his flight to Singapore from the Philippines.

The SPCA has long spoken out against the displacement of animals in their natural habitat for the purpose of human entertainment.

For the sake of the remaining dolphins, we urge RWS to release the captured dolphins back to their natural habitat. We urge RWS to give a full account to the public, of the circumstances leading to, and cause of the death of Wen Wen.
