Adopter Needed Urgently For Newborn Kitten (Azella Natasias)

Updates at 8.50pm: Blanket is with Megaa now and Megaa says she looks very healthy. Thanks, Megaa!

Updates at 4.40pm: Azella managed to feed the kitten 1cc of milk and the kitten open its eyes! It’s not a newborn, after all, and that’s a relief as it would be easier to foster. She’s probably a female, being Calico. Azella has named her “Blanket”. Etta’s fosterer will look after Blanket until another adopter can be found; otherwise, Blanket can stay on with her. All is well now. Thank you, everyone.

Fed the kitten at 4.40 1cc of pets own milk. The kitten opened its eyes. They were closed since this morning. And now the kitten goes back doing what it knows best, sleeping.

P/s: dr chan, i will send the kitten to megaa’s this evening around 6-7pm.

Regards,
Azella

Updates at 3.130pm: Megaa will look after the kitten from today until Monday after which Etta James’ fosterer will take over. Thank you very much, Megaa and Etta’s fosterer! If anyone else wishes to adopt this kitten, please contact Azella.

The original post:

Azella was communicating with me all morning. She has tried her best to feed this kitten with a bottle and later, with a syringe (and she bought Pets Own Milk too), but she could not get the kitten to drink milk.

If you are able to help by adopting this kitten, please contact Azella as soon as possible.
Thank you very much.

Dear dr.chan,

My name is azella. This morning, i found a newborn kitten sleeping and shivering in front of a shop somewhere around pandan indah. It feels so wrong for me to just leave it there, so i took it home. I was advised by a friend to bottlefeed it. However, the pet shop is still close. (I’ll go to the pet shop again after 10.30am)

Dr.,
I have zero knowledge in taking care a newborn. I googled the steps and from my readings, i understand that the newborn has to be fed every 2 hrs.

I am currently doing my chambering in a law firm. Im taking a half day emergency leave for today so that i can take care of this kitten. The problem is I do not know how i can feed this poor newborn every 2-3 hours while im working. Should i smuggle it to my office? A friend has suggested for me to keep it in my car, rolled down the window, put the windscreen protector and check and feed it every 2 hrs. But im afraid that will make it suffocates.

Tell me what should i do?

If there is anyone who would love to take care of this poor newborn, let me know. But i will try my best to take care of it with the little knowledge that i have.

I can be contacted at 012-8377750
Attached herewith are the pictures.

P/s: im using my laptop as a heat pad.

Dear dr chan,

I bought lm-farms milk bottle and pets own milk. Tried to bottlefed it, but i only managed to make it drink a few drops. It doesnt know how to suck the tip of the nipple. Hence resulting me to buy a syringe. Tried to use the syringe, and again it doesnt really work. I tried to warm the kitten first by rubbing it slowly and keeping it close to my chest before began feeding as im made to understand it is important to make the kitten warm before feeding it.

Im scared the kitten would starve. It seems comfortable when i put it in the box with blanket and soft toy.

Please advice
Azella

Dr chan,
Im not usually a quitter but for the best interest of the kitten, i think it would be best if the kitten is taken care by an experienced caretaker. If it is possible, would you help me in finding a good human being to take care of this kitten?

Really sorry for the inconveniences.

Regards
Azella
