Thank you Zimmer!

The animals received a wonderful gift this month- a $10,000 donation from Zimmer Pte. Ltd. and their staff! The main focus of the fundraising effort was a charity walk, which saw staff members blazing a trail from Hort Park to Mount Faber on a rainy day- all for the animals. For every person who signed up for the walk, Zimmer very kindly donated $100 to ACRES. In addition, for those who wished to participate in the walk but were unable and/or those who wanted to make a personal donation, for every dollar donated Zimmer also very graciously agreed to match every dollar.

Our thanks to Zimmer and their staff for this generous gift, on behalf of all the animals that ACRES helps!

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
