Help Needed For Dogs At Construction Site (Susan Ann Bells)
We received this request from Susan Ann Bell two days ago, and we will be providing our neutering subsidy for the dogs. Our volunteer will be visiting the site soon as Susan has also applied for food sponsorship. Susan also needs help in finding fosterers for these dogs, so if you are able to help, kindly contact her at her email address below. If you wish to contribute food or any other help for these dogs, please contact Susan directly. Thank you.

Subject: Help for construction site dogs
To: chankahyein@gmail.com
Dear Dr.Chan,
I came to know about the plight of some dogs in a construction site in Bandar Utama, and was told that there were dozens of dogs within the walls of the construction site that were literally starving to death.I managed to get permission to enter the site to see for myself and what I saw was a heartbreaking sight.
The dogs were emaciated, just skin and bones, most of them had wounds and old battle scars from fighting for scraps of food. A lot of them had eyeinfections as well. The food that my friend and I brought with us was devoured within minutes and the water they drank was from puddles of muddy water, left after a rainfall.
In total there were 60 odd dogs but most of the puppies and many adult dogs have died due to illness and starvation. Now there remains these 20-22dogs and for the past one month my friend and I go everyday to bring food and fresh water for the dogs.
I would like to appeal for neutering/spaying subsidy and also if it’s possible to get some help with food subsidy as well. Feeding 22 hungry dogseveryday is costly for both me and my friend and we sincerely hope that we will be able to get some assistance from you.
There are 15 females and 6 males and we have just sent 2 females to the vet for spaying and hope to eventually neuter the lot.
Please feel free to contact me should you have any enquiries.
Enclosed are photos of some the dogs.
Sincerely
Susan Monk
