Kempen Roots & Shoots GenWild, yang merupakan sebahagian daripada kempen global JGI #4EverWild, bertujuan untuk melindungi hidupan liar sambil mempromosikan pemilikan haiwan peliharaan yang bertanggungjawab. Kempen ini menekankan perbezaan antara haiwan peliharaan dan haiwan liar, dengan menyeru agar setiap haiwan berada di habitat yang sesuai—haiwan peliharaan di rumah yang penyayang dan hidupan liar kekal bebas di alam semula jadi.
