🌍 Reflecting on COP29: Malaysia’s Climate Path Forward

It was a privilege for WWF-Malaysia to co-organise and participate in an important conversation on mitigation, adaptation, carbon markets, and climate finance alongside theSunway Centre for Planetary Health, Malaysian Youth Delegation #MYD, and Global Alliance for Incinerator Alternatives.

As Malaysia assumes the chair of ASEAN, it can play a pivotal role in uniting the voices in the region, for stronger commitments and collective advocacy in the climate space on the global stage.

In the closing remarks, Yang Berhormat Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, reaffirmed Malaysia’s commitment to climate action.
