We are thrilled to announce that soi dog Calzone has found his forever home with none other than the Thai royal family! 🐕👑

Her Royal Highness Princess Aditayadornkitikhun adopted Calzone – now lovingly renamed Popcorn – and he is thriving under her care, alongside her other beloved dogs.

Popcorn was rescued from the streets in 2022 after suffering severe injuries that required the amputation of one of his front legs. After patiently waiting for over two years at the shelter, he is now receiving the highest level of care and affection under the watchful eye of Her Royal Highness.

We are deeply honoured by Her Royal Highness’ decision to adopt from our shelter, and we hope her kindness inspires others to consider adoption as a first option when looking to welcome a dog or cat into their family. 🧡

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals. Soi Dog also has a treatment facility in Bangkok and responds to crisis situations throughout Thailand. The organisation is dedicated to implementing effective, sustainable solutions that reduce the suffering of dogs and cats in Asia, runs entirely on donations and works efficiently so all donations are used to help animals as effectively as possible.
