Dear All,. This Is A Humble Request. Many Who Have..

Dear all,

This is a humble request. Many who have followed us through the years will know that we have been around for the last 16 years.

Many would also notice that we do not put up pics of ourselves and talk about our ‘achievements’ or label ourselves ass heroes extraordinaire.

It is against our policy to do so because we believe what we have been doing over the years is nothing compared to greater achievements by many others.

We also do not believe in self-praise as self-praise is no praise.

We have over the years only highlighted the rescued animals that have pulled through as heroes and not the people behind the rescue.

We also do not highlight or talk about our personal challenges – but only highlight the challenges we face running the sanctuary and feeding 400 doggos.

The last time we came across a group which painted itself as saints and also made claims of constantly going hungry because of lack of money, due to rescue activities, was A Pets Journal and we all know how that went and ended-up, don’t we?

So, we humbly ask you to not do a rah rah he or she is a hero here- because he or she rescued a dog -song and jig here.

Please do it at your own space.

We don’t even highlight our own volunteers who make great sacrifices to ensure our dogs are taken care off and who run to and from veterinary clinics almost daily.

For us animal rescue is a calling – you do it because you were chosen to do it and no praise or recognition is needed for that.

Hope you understand. Thank you.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
