These Last Few Days Have Been Full Of Heartbreak F..

💔💔💔 These last few days have been full of heartbreak for our Malaysian pet rescue community, from losing a kind soul, to cruelty against strays, to dumpings and sickness.

We are sad to say that today, we feel that we’ve reached the peak of cruelty. Two puppies were dumped in front of the gates of our shelter overnight, packed and sealed in plastic bags.

WHO WOULD DO SUCH A THING? What goes on in a person’s mind, to come to such a decision? There are a million different ways to handle a situation in which you have two living, breathing souls under your responsibility, who you’re unable to take care of. This way of dumping is the WORST THING to do and we’re really at a loss of words.

Without a split second of hesitation, we took these two sweethearts in, put them into a safe room and gave them food and water. They are terrified and under shock, but now they have the chance to decompress and slowly recover. We love them already 🧡

Of course, they’ll see a vet, get a thorough checkup, as well as vaccinations, neutering, deworming and all treatments they need, in due time.

In light of these recent events of dumpings, we would like to kindly request your help again, to DONATE and support us in this heart-wrenching work of rescuing.

Recently, adoptions have been really slow and our intake of new pets is far higher than the adoption rate.

Second Chance

Second Chance is a group of like-minded animal lovers who met through the Internet when they read of Aunty Kiew's plight.

They do their very best to render help whenever time permits and within their limited capacities. They hope to find good homes for as many homeless animals as possible. Currently, there are 100+ animals rescued and fostered by this group.
