Celebrating Amori this #AdoptALessAdoptablePetWeek 🥰
This brindle boy arrived at Soi Dog all the way back in 2020 with a fractured front leg.
We named him Amori, and little did we know just how fitting that name would be. As he recovered from his amputation, he blossomed into the most affectionate soul! ❤️
Despite all the love he had to give, as one of our ‘less adoptable’ dogs Amori waited more than four years to find the perfect home. 🏡
That wait finally came to an end this year when he joined a family in Germany 🇩🇪 in May. Here’s an update from them, four months in:
“Amori is doing really good. We see so much happiness every day.
When we come home from work, we find Amori on the couch mostly. Once he sees us, he does his happy front-paw jumpies and waits for his cuddles. That melts our heart away!
In the evening, he lays with us on the couch for some petting or plays with his toys. A real bundle of joy!
Yesterday we sat on the couch and while cuddling Amori, Martin said: ‘I just love everything about him: his character, his tiger fur, his funny hanging tongue – he is perfect!’”
Alongside senior dogs, shy dogs and black dogs, disabled dogs like Amori wait a long time to find their homes.
