Our shelter once served as the final haven for our furry friends. However, with the passage of time, many areas have become dilapidated. The ground is uneven, the old and broken fences and gates are falling apart, and the roof is on the verge of collapse. Our furry friends often get injured from running around, and our cats catch severe colds due to the cold. Every storm, every opening and closing of the door, makes us anxious. The broken haven can no longer ensure the safety of our furry friends.

For the safety of our furry friends, we urgently hope to rebuild their home as soon as possible. However, our capabilities are very limited, and severe funding shortages leave us at a loss. Therefore, we appeal for the help of kind-hearted individuals, hoping for your generous support.

Whether it is a donation or building materials, your support and assistance can help our furry friends escape danger and provide them with a safe and warm haven. Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
