Galahad was reported to us by a kind local who found her roaming the streets in a sorry state. As a small breed dog, she was clearly owned at some stage of her life before being cruelly abandoned. 😓

Galahad had lost most of her fur to alopecia, and her skin was home to a number of small masses. Her purple tinge, we believe, was the result of an antiseptic spray someone had used in an attempt to treat her.

Beneath the surface, there was even more going on for Galahad, including hip dysplasia, kidney disease and anaemia.

But following many weeks of treatment, here’s Galahad today. Her health is stabilising, her fur is growing out and we’re seeing glimmers of her personality, which is just as quirky as her looks! 😆

Life has been one long quest for Galahad, but at 12 years old, she’s finally found a place where she can settle down safely. And it’s all because of animal lovers like you – thank you. 🙏🧡
