One day to Giving Tuesday!

Tomorrow, 28th November, starting at 10:00 am (for only 24 hours), we need your help to raise 1,000 copies of “Turtles of Malaysia” colouring book to be distributed FOR FREE to rural school students in Terengganu.

Please support our continuous effort to provide quality education to rural school students who would otherwise not learn about our turtles, or receive a copy of the informative colouring book.

When you make a RM10 donation, we will donate a colouring book to a child on your behalf. The bigger your donation, the larger the impact you will be creating 🏆 Plus, you will also receive a tax-deductible receipt for your contribution.

The “Turtles of Malaysia” colouring book retails at RM20/copy but for this fundraiser, the books are going at RM10/copy. This colouring book contains illustrations of 18 native species of freshwater turtles in the country. Information on their natural history is written in two languages, i.e. Bahasa Melayu and English. To date, 1,800 copies of the colouring book have been distributed for free to students since it was published in July 2022.

#GivingTuesday is a worldwide movement that was initiated in 2012 to encourage people to do good. This year, it is observed on 28th November 2023.

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
