⚠Upsetting images⚠ It’s hard to believe anyone could inflict such terrible cruelty on a senior gentle dog like Sciliano 😥. Brutally attacked with a lawn mower, Siciliano was found with a deep, open and bleeding wound on his thorax.

Desperate and on the brink of death, Siciliano dragged himself to a nearby house where he found a kind animal lover willing to help him. Our team were immediately alerted and Siciliano was brought to our hospital for urgent medical treatment.

Despite the trauma he endured, Siciliano never gave up. The smile on his face as he received veterinary and loving care in our hospital speaks a thousand words 💕.

With the help of our veterinarians, carers and volunteers, Siciliano made a slow but brilliant recovery. He knew he deserved so much more than the life of suffering he had been enduring on the streets, and thanks to animal lovers like you, he is now living his best life in the safety of our Sanctuary.
