Little Blind Mae Finally Found Her Way

Little blind Mae finally found her way 💕

Mae (shelter name Maengern) was brought to us in 2019 with her mum and two sisters.

They were found struggling to survive on the streets. And no wonder – they were all suffering from varying degrees of blindness. Some had lost their vision entirely, including Mae.

Mae spent almost two years at the shelter and a further few months at one of our partner rescues in the USA searching for a home.

We couldn’t understand how such a sweet, smart and resilient girl wasn’t being adopted – and neither could Soi Dog USA board member Elizabeth, who decided that she would be the one to finally bring her home!

Mae has always been part of a pack which perhaps explains how she’s settled in so well alongside two dogs, five cats and four humans. Her ability to navigate the world, meanwhile, is a little harder to explain. She’s just incredible like that.
