Our Yolo Was Brought Home From The Vet To Be Given..

Our Yolo was brought home from the vet to be given a final send off. This is the first time we have lost a four-year-old dog. Yolo came to us in July 2020 as a timid and traumatised pup after witnessing her playmates being run over by a vehicle. She came with a lot of health problems. She came with severe tick fever and heartworm and was treated for that. She started to show signs of declining health from early 2021 itself. Given that she died of kidney failure, we believe it must have been to the intensive treatment she received for tick fever and heartworm at such a young age. Yolo had a close bond with her caretakers – and will be missed terribly. Sleep well Yolo.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
