Learning is a lifelong process and inspiration drives actions. Even when surrounded by the beauty of the wetlands all their lives, our local communities never cease to find new lessons in their waters.

Last March, our friends from Tanjung Manis, Sarawak, and Setiu Wetlands, Terengganu, embarked on a journey of discovery. They took a step towards learning by visiting the thriving Matang Mangrove Forest Reserve and the vibrant Kuala Sepetang ecotourism site in Perak. Witnessing the successful community-led approaches in these areas, they returned home with inspiration. Ready to implement, change, and protect their precious wetlands. Because when we learn, we grow. When we’re inspired, we act. And when we act, we make our future possible.
