Dear all,

We have not done this before even once in our 15-year existence. But desperate times requires desperate measures. The water bill for our sanctuary is inflated. We do not know if it is due to too much usage or leekage. We are getting that checked. But Syabas has sent us a notice to disrupt water (cut). A place with almost 400 dogs and no water is sheer hell. MDDB does not have much money as our bills are paid directly to source by donors. Please help. Thank you very much. We hope to settle bill by tonight.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
