There are many people who have screwed-up their lives due to animal rescue. Some months ago we met a young man who helped us to rescue and transport. He was fantastic with the animals. Today we received a frantic message from him. He was told to vaccate his house which he shared with his rescues. He is in a lurch. He says he feels like commiting suicide and this is scaring us. This young man says he had received kind help from Chan Mee Fah, who had a shelter, over the years until she passed away. Prior to that he was involved with the owner of another shelter – we will not be going into that. He is now desperate . He owes the landlord RM4,750. The landlord has also been kindly and patiently awaiting him but cannot any longer. We have sighted the WhatsApp message between both of them. MDDB is a very poor NGO and we cannot spare that kind of money. So, if you can help, please do. However, we do not want the funds raised exceeding RM5,000. So, if you are able to help – pls bank in directly into his account BUT please post transfer slip here or WhatsApp 0122501497. The landlord has given him up to 2pm. WE WILL INFORM HER FOR FUNDRAISING TO BE STOPPED ONCE AMOUNT IS REACHED.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
