⚠️ Upsetting images ⚠️ After everything he has been through at the hands of humans, it’s hard to believe that Savernake is still alive today. 😔

Upon arrival with a severe head wound, our veterinary team quickly determined that the wound was caused by a horrific act of cruelty. 😲 An x-ray showed that Savernake had been shot in the head, right front leg, and abdomen.

The thought of someone looking into his eyes and still carrying out such a despicable act is unfathomable.

At the age of thirteen, Savernake had already experienced a difficult life of struggling to survive, with no one to feed or care for him. And then someone went ahead and committed the unimaginable. It’s likely that he has never even experienced the warmth and affection of being loved before. 💔
