Though Huga was with a pack of eight other dogs when he arrived at Soi Dog in 2021, there was something about him that stood out. Perhaps it was his jet-black fur. Perhaps it was his amber eyes. Or maybe it was his cautious but calm nature.

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
