On this Brown Dog Day, we’re featuring one of our brown soi dogs who has a special place in the hearts of many! It’s Ilampo! https://www.soidog.org/adopt/ilampo-2025

Ilampo was brought to us for emergency care in 2019 after wandering into an unfamiliar area and being attacked by another dog. By the time someone found him, his wounds had become infected and full of maggots. He was nursed back to full health and has been in our care ever since.

Five-and-a-half-year-old Ilampo is an intelligent, energetic and playful boy who loves hanging out with the volunteers and burning off his high energy in the off-lead area. He’s also a big fan of the pool and amazes us with his new tricks and skills – swimming like an otter and playing aqua-fetch! 💦

Despite all the potential this boy has, he still hasn’t managed to find a home to call his own. Can you be the one to give him the second chance he deserves? 🏠https://www.soidog.org/adopt/ilampo-2025

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
