Despite his name, 🌟Dog of the Week🌟 Snowman arrived at the shelter long before the festive season – in September last year. He’d been hit by a car and suffered life-changing injuries to his hips and hind legs, including a fracture which is painfully visible in his entry photo.

Snowman underwent an amputation on his right side and two surgeries to help restore mobility on his left. It was a lot to bear, especially as he was just a puppy at the time.

Eventually, though, Snowman was fit and strong enough to move from our hospital to one of our special care kennels which was purpose-built for dogs like him who need a little extra support for their physical needs.

Snowman spend his days there cuddling with his carer, going for walks and waiting for the perfect person to come along and take him home. Could that be you? Please enquire here: https://links.soidog.org/adopt-snowman
