Once A Hurt And Homeless Dog, Now A Beloved And Pa..

Once a hurt and homeless dog, now a beloved and pampered pet, this is Cassy’s #furrytailending story.💕

In June last year, we received a call from a local lady about a dog who had become wedged in a small space under her house. It was Cassy. It seemed she’d run in there in a panic after being hit by a car.

Our rescue team freed her and brought her to our shelter where she made a full recovery and blossomed into a friendly girl who loved being bathed and groomed by her carers.

Fast forward ten months later, Cassy flew to our partner rescue Refuge Balto in Canada and found her forever home soon after. Here’s what her mum has to say about this sweet and scruffy addition to the family:

“After we brought Cassy home, she adapted very well and quickly looked more and more comfortable, confident and happy. I’m starting to think that she’s made our couch her bed 😂 I got her a very nice expensive dog bed but no… she wants the couch (or my bed). In fact, last night she slept all night on it.

She is extremely gentle and her temperament so far is soft, calm and super nice with everyone in the house (I have two kids and a husband). She is truly amazing. We could have not asked for a better dog. She is the perfect pet and deserves the world!

I’m planning to go see a vet to make sure everything is good with her health and also want to book a cleaning service for her to get washed and pampered. Thanks for everything once again and for saving her and taking great care of her.”
