$1,305 NEEDED TO BUY NOVEMBER FOOD FOR 750 DOGS

This weekend, we are holding our breath and hoping that people will help. We are short of funds to buy food for the dogs for the month of November.  we have just a couple of days left to come up with the funds.

There’s quite a chill in the air and the dogs are developing nice, thick winter coats at Sasha‘s Shelter in Serbia. Puppies and the elderly dogs stay at a separate location and sleep in a heated, indoor building. The other dogs at the main shelter also sleep indoors with straw bedding, but there is no central heating system. The straw bedding helps maintain the dogs’ body temperatures at night and the firewood is used to cook hot meals. Extra calories are provided during winter to help the dogs stay warmer.
