Jomalone Isn't Home Alone Anymore. Soi Cat Jomalon..

Jomalone isn’t home alone anymore! 🏠

Soi cat Jomalone came to Soi Dog early last year to receive treatment for a nasty infection in his right eye. However, upon examination, our vets discovered something far worse. They found three homemade bullets lodged in his body: one in his chin, one in his shoulder blade and one in his leg.

Jomalone’s eye had to be removed but, thanks to your support, his life was saved and he blossomed into a gorgeous fluffy boy who was quickly snapped up for adoption.

Just four months after his arrival, Jomalone joined our partner rescue Homeward Trails in the USA. From there, he found a home with a lovely lady who sent the following update:

“Jomalone says hello!

I’ll admit I was nervous when I came to meet him and he wanted nothing to do with me, but he has turned out to be the most loving, gentle cat. It’s been such a joy to watch his silly personality emerge. He still loves sleeping on his back and laying like a frog with his legs stretched out! He spends most of his days enjoying the view from my 11th floor apartment or snuggled up in his bed.

In November, he got a little brother – another Homeward Trails kitten named Dawson! Dawson and Jomalone adore each other and bring so much happiness to my life. Dawson has turned out to be a more perfect match than I could have imagined. Jo and Dawson took to each other almost immediately, and now spend most of their days playing and their nights cuddled up together in bed. Dawson definitely has a lot of energy, and it’s been nice to see Jo be more active and playful as well thanks to his little buddy.”

There are many more victims of cruelty at the shelter like Jomalone. But unlike him, they’ve yet to experience the love of a family. Please visit the “Adopt” tab on our website www.soidog.org to meet them.
