On Sunday, we started at 8am to trap the dogs In Segambut. It wasn’t difficult as they have gotten used to eating inside the enclosure. We managed to get 6 dogs this time with the help of some volunteers. Thanks so much.
Last week, DBKL dog catchers came and tried to catch them due to a complaint filed by someone but all dogs escaped. Now we fear for the safety of the dogs there. Local councils only act whenever there’s a complaint from the public. When there’s none, the strays would be safe. So we urge you not to make any complaint because the strays will die in your hand.
And to all you stray lovers, we would encourage you to write to local councils respectively in good will to urge them to implement tnr program instead of catch and kill. The real power is in the hands of the public, not ngos combined. You can google their email addresses and start writing to them accordingly to your respective areas. Writing to them diplomatically. By doing that, you may not see changes in short term but be sure that changes are taking place. Please do that for the safety and we’ll being of all strays in Malaysia. Thank you.
